We want your child or children to enjoy playing our sports. GCVSA stresses good sportmanship, learning the game and having fun. As the children get older, competition has its place but we feel that winning is not everything.

January 31st is the deadline for Spring Soccer.
June 30th is the deadline for Fall Soccer.

Late Registrations
Late registrations incur late fees and possibly waiting lists. No carpool or special requests will be honored on late registrations. GCVSA will do what it can to find a spot for your child.

Refunds
Refunds will be issued for medical reasons only. The medical occurrence must have happened before the first game is played at the start of the season. Requests for a refund must be made in writing and be accompanied by a physician’s statement. A $25.00 processing fee will be assessed on the registration fee for all refunds processed.

Rosters, Schedules and Start Dates
Prior to the season, the starting dates for Squirts, Pee-Wee and Rec. soccer will be posted on GCVSA.org. Parents can and should use the rosters page to find their child’s team and schedule. Depending on the age group, the coach may or may not contact players before the first game.

Practices
Prior to each Pee-Wee game, coaches will run a 15 minute or so practice session. In the older teams, a coach may hold a separate practice during the week. The coach will determine the weekday, location and time of the separate practice.

Age Groups and Team Placement
Your child's school grade will determine placement. Squirts are 3 and 4 year old pre-schoolers while Pee-Wee kids are kindergartners or 5 years old. Pee-Wee and Squirts teams are mixed gender; older teams are single sex. Clinic level teams are first and second graders. Division level teams are 3rd/4th grades, 5th/6th grades, 7th/8th grades or 9th-12th grades.

Rainouts and Raindates
Rainout messages will be posted on the Home page by 3PM on weekdays or by 7AM on weekends. Schedules will have some raindate information, however continue checking the website as the season progresses.

Coaching at GCVSA
All of our coaches are volunteers. We appreciate their effort and since our club is growing, we need more people. If you are interested in coaching or helping out in any way, contact us.

Travel Soccer
Tryouts for travel soccer are held in April and May. Teams are determined by age and ability. Travel soccer is a bigger commitment in terms of time and money. For more information, please visit travel soccer the FAQ/Info page.
