Soccer Squirts is for children who are preschoolers who are aproximately 3 1/2 to
almost 5 years old. If your child turns 5 during the summer, you may enroll him or her in
either Squirts or Pee-Wee. Pee-wee is for 5 year olds and/or kindergartners.
Squirts is a fun introduction to the game and
skills of soccer. All Squirts sessions are during the day using hired trainers.
lasses are 50 minutes long and run for 6 weeks.
All sessions will be held at the GCVSA Complex located behind Bryn Mawr Rehab.
Squirts use the area next to the snack bar parking lot. Rainout information will be posted on the website.
Check the GCVSA website for the starting date for Squirts. Squirts coaches will not telephone beforehand. The first class
consists of meeting the coach, getting your team shirt and working on a particular skill.
Players should always come dressed to play soccer, with shin guards, team shirt, water bottle and a size 3 ball.
Cleats or turf shoes are recommended but not required. In the colder weather, wear a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt
under the team shirt.
