Division I teams are single sex 3rd and 4th graders and created by the coaches. Late registrations will be placed where there is space on a team.
Program Details
- Ten games are scheduled so that eight are played and two are in case of bad weather.
- All games will be held on Saturdays and/or Sundays at the GCVSA Complex.
- Fall season usually begins in September after Labor Day and runs through the end of October
- Spring Season usually begins the second week of April and runs through the weekend before Memorial Day
- Each game consists of two 30 minute halves. Each team will have 7 players and a goalie out on the field.
- GCVSA will provide an official for Division games.
- At his or her discretion, a coach may hold a separate practice during the week.
Uniforms and Equipment
- GCVSA uniforms consist of socks, shorts and a jersey and will be distributed by your coach.
- Players are required to wear the uniform and shin guards during all weekend matches.
- Players should bring a water bottle and a size 4 soccer ball.
- Cleats or turf shoes are recommended but not required.
- In colder weather, players can wear a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt under the jersey. Hoods must be tucked under the player’s jersey.
