Division I teams are single sex 3rd – 5th graders and created by the coaches.
Late registrations will be placed where there is space on a team. Special requests with a late registration are unlikely to be honored.
Program Details
- Ten games are scheduled so that eight are played and two are in case of bad weather.
- All games will be held on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons at the GCVSA Line Road Complex, 137 Line Road, Malvern, PA
- Fall season usually begins in September after Labor Day and runs through the end of October
- Spring Season usually begins the second week of April and runs through the weekend before Memorial Day
- At his or her discretion, a coach may hold a separate practice during the week.
Uniforms and Equipment
- GCVSA uniforms consist of socks, shorts and a jersey
- Players are required to wear their uniform and shin guards for all games
- Players should bring a water bottle and a size 4 soccer ball
- Cleats or turf shoes are recommended but not required
- In cold weather, players may wear a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt under the jersey. Hoods must be tucked in under the jersey
Games and Playing
- GCVSA will provide referees for Division 1 games
- Games are 25 minute halves and use a size 4 ball.
