Pee-Wee teams are mixed gender teams of 5 and 6 year olds, pre-kindergartners or kindergartners. Pee-Wee games are meant for fun, learning soccer and playing as a team. Teams are built based on siblings, schools, neighbors and gender.
Program Details
- Approximately 8 week program with each session lasting 60 minutes.
- Sessions begin with 15 minutes of instruction followed by a 40 minute game with a halftime.
- Most sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 6PM at the GCVSA Complex.
- Fall Pee-Wee may include weekend games to accommodate shorter daylight.
- Fall season usually begins in September after Labor Day and runs through the end of October
- Spring Season usually begins the second week of April and runs through the weekend before Memorial Day
Uniforms and Equipment
- GCVSA uniforms consist of socks, shorts and a jersey and will be distributed by your coach.
- For each game, players are required to wear the uniform and shin guards.
- Players should bring a water bottle and a size 3 soccer ball.
- Cleats or turf shoes are recommended but not required.
- In colder weather, players can wear a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt under the jersey.
